Why Classify Your Material?

Classification helps separate your material by size before you begin the final recovery process. Removing oversized material means you can focus your panning and recovery efforts on the smaller material where your gold is most likely to be found.

For fine gold, proper classification can make a noticeable difference. When your material is consistently sized, the heavier gold is easier to separate from the lighter material during panning.
