The Minelab 10" Coil Cover (Skidplate) is designed specifically for the 10-inch search coil on the Minelab Gold Monster 1000. It provides a protective layer between your coil and the ground, helping reduce scratches, scuffs, and abrasion caused by rocks, gravel, dirt, and normal prospecting use.

A coil cover is especially useful when you're working in rocky washes, creek beds, dry desert ground, gravel bars, and other rough terrain where your search coil is likely to encounter plenty of abuse.

The skidplate is removable and can be replaced when it becomes worn, helping protect the more expensive search coil underneath.
